Just launched a silly app. I made this just for myself initially, but it got a bit out of hand so I decided to share 😸 https://cleanupbuddy.app
CleanupBuddy

The silly app that helps you clean your Mac's keyboard and trackpad.

@_inside I love silly apps, and this is absolutely something I would use.

@_inside I love it 😍😅

But I would LOVE more if Apple would simply allow me to turn off my MacBook without turning it back on whenever I press ANY key 😬 That's so ridiculous! Why we can't clean our computers like normal people?

@_inside Haha nice. I've been using KeyboardCleanTool so far, but I like the unlock via left+right command keys.
@_inside now all you need is a mechanical keyboard 🙃
@_inside that looks like a chibi cleaning Levi
@RoboRev @_inside I had the same exact thought
@_inside 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I have wanted to make this app for years, thank you!
@_inside I’ve actually been wanting something similar for cleaning iOS screens, some way to get it to temporarily keep the screen off until I press a button (without turning the whole thing off)
@rouseworld @_inside turn your phone upside down and hit the power button to turn the screen off. The screen won’t wake up because the phone’s upside down.
@_inside Esse app é completamente VISIONÁRIO

@_inside this is great and I will definitely install it.

I wish Apple didn’t spec cheap ABS keys on their expensive computers when PBT keys completely solve the issue of oily/looking keys!

@_inside Hahah, amazing! My late father had a similar app for Windows way back when called "The Cursor Corral" and i just found a copy of it on archive.org: https://archive.org/details/CORRAL24_EXE

@_inside Que bom! Muito obrigado! 😄👍🏻
@_inside This works so much better than Keyboard Cleaner. Thank you!
@_inside This is great! I’ve created so many Untitled folders on the desktop by accidentally right clicking with the Magic Trackpad when trying to plug it in to charge.
Thanks for this!
@_inside Ha! I love this. I’ve found myself wondering in the past why a mode for this doesn’t exist within the OS itself.
