Which is the more forgettable movie franchise Fast & Furious or Mission Impossible? Pretty sure I've watched almost all movies from both, also pretty sure I couldn't tell a single plot line from any of them.

I can't believe I've done this

(Apologies to Apple that my optometrist used the term VR headset instead of Apple Vision Pro®. Did they even READ the style guide?!)

Among the responses Donald Trump could have given to E. Jean Carroll’s accusations are, “Are you kidding? I would never do that.” Or “Rape is abhorrent. I’m disgusted someone could think I’d do such a thing. Let alone accuse me of it.”

Instead he went with, “She’s not my type.”

Nowadays we see this for the major problem it always was, but few would admit that it was at the time—and fewer still back then were ready to accept the solutions that needed to be legislated to solve this huge public health problem. I’m old enough to remember when smoking (and smoke) was everywhere, and the idea that smokers might ever be asked or made to stop was seen as absurd. Many kids (including me) got horrible bronchitis every single year and had other sorts of breathing problems all the time. Many parents (and other adults) died early.
My unfunded technology company pitch: the tech product you love, but without the nazis in it.
People who say they don’t like nazis, but turn around and take money from nazis, and give money to nazis, do in fact like nazis.

Thinking of starting a new consulting business, called "That's Fucked Up As A Service".

I sit there and you explain your legacy system to me, and all I do is say "That's fucked up." If you agree, you get a discount. If you try to justify the brokenness, you have to pay double.
