@LorenzMeyer After his actual endorsement of the German fascist party, this is just par for the course.
At this point, supporting Elon truly is supporting an actual fascist and I don't know how to politely tell that anyone left on X or buying a Tesla.
@deleugpn @LorenzMeyer Sure, because their audience is there. I get the individual pull, but every trickle drying up, every little bit less engagement eventually triggers the reverse network effect.
This is one of the few scenarios where individual action actually leads to systemic change.
(ofc, such public spaces should also be public goods, so the public sector should fund them more and remove them from corporate interests.)
@deleugpn @larsmb @LorenzMeyer
IMHO also just a question of priorities. Of course, everyone can argue for this or that advantage. Nothing else happened 100 Years ago:
For a lot of people, it was of great advantage, to support the party of the dictator .. until the slippery slope got too slippery to turn around.
This is the problem with conservatives, neoliberal and of course any fascists: They never calculate sustainably. At some point, they always have to find a scapegoat to pay their bill.
Es bestätigt nur, was ich von ihm gesehen habe...
