I'm at an #EU  #DataSpaces conference, where I'll be speaking about the #EHDS.

The conference is co-organised by the Spanish #DPA but they seem to spend more time lamenting about #innovation, #datamarkets and #synergies than they do about #privacybydesign, #dataminimisation and #consent.  #GDPR

@ilumium @EDPS has anyone made a distinction between data spaces that involve personal data and those that don't? All the "data markets" terms applied to personal data spaces can mean expanding surveillance advertising x 1000. It would be like legitimising cartels.

@harsh @EDPS Not really. Many #DataSpaces will include personal data though: health data, geolocation data, police databases, financial data, etc...
