@gamingonlinux first they keep on updating a game they said they were done with, then this.
Re-Logic and Terraria truly are the gifts that keep on giving, quite literally
@ozone89 @gamingonlinux meanwhile:
Chucklefish has a lot of controversy with Starbound, the game is pretty much done for and on life support for quite some time... and they had the source code leaked a few months ago :)
and to believe Starbound came from a former Re-Logic dev that apparently was also causing problems before moving to Chucklefish, Re-Logic did good getting rid of him.
@ozone89 @gamingonlinux I don't know what happened but I believe the modding community might be working to fix the game?
it would be awesome if the open source community decided to rewrite Starbound or make a similar game using a clean-room implementation, like they did with Veloren
@xinayder @gamingonlinux difficult. and REALLY up to CF to let them or not, as they still detain © on the source, leaked or not.
if modding space is anything like the emulation scene, they'll keep the source code at least a flagpole away from them, as this kind of stuff is usually a lawsuit magnet, and an excellent way to have modding support revoked.
