Because there's no algorithm on this platform, it's important to use hashtags. I've noticed your posts don't have them. Try adding #Astrodon #Astronomy and others and I'm certain your engagement / followers will go up.

Esslar2@badastro Xitter dumped me twice. The first time, I was surprised how little I missed it. Then they let me back on, it just wasn't the same after Musk took over. Then they pushed me off again and I don't even care anymore. But I am very happy to see people like you come here because we need to hear from you.

I like Bluesky the best, although it's quite the firehose and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to slow it down. Mastodon is my second choice, although I'm spending more time here because it's comfy.

I have got rid of the twitter app due to the number of ads even when trying #ReVanced.
Automating #Twitter posts to be shared across Northants #GreenParty social media pages has become basically impossible due to the twitter api.
So if any announcement or such is posted its going on mastodon and in turn, will mirror to our Facebook page.
I will post on twitter when I get the chance to copy and paste.
