@RL_Dane Oh jeez, I feel I got #10ThingsILoveRightNow trending again XD
@libreivan @RL_Dane
@Anachron started it this time, actually. ;)

@benjaminhollon

Ah, true. I should have realized that. Well don't mind me, I'm only half human right now after 4 hours of flight

@RL_Dane @Anachron

@libreivan @RL_Dane @Anachron
Trust me, I get it. Just wait until you get to 16+ hour flights. ;)

@benjaminhollon @libreivan @Anachron

I was on a 22-hour flight once, but I don't remember it ;)

@libreivan @benjaminhollon

Had I been aware of what was going on, I would've been happy to be leaving. ;)

@RL_Dane @libreivan @Anachron
Ooooooof.

I don't know that I've been on a single leg that long, but my last trip to the US was something like 40 hours including layovers.

@benjaminhollon @RL_Dane @Anachron

My god, just thinking about all of this is making me want to puke and drop dead on the floor. How do you people even exist?!

@libreivan @RL_Dane @Anachron

> making me want to puke and drop dead on the floor
Ah, so you know what the experience is like! 😂

@libreivan @RL_Dane @Anachron
But I've been making these flights since I was three months old, so it's kinda ingrained at this point.
@benjaminhollon Confession time: This was my first flight I've ever done. Let me tell you it's really scary at first when you aren't familiar with it XD
@libreivan
Ooof, yeah. That's a rough first flight.
@benjaminhollon It's almost 1am in my timezone, I'm gonna go hit the sack. See you later losers! And have a nice day.

@libreivan @benjaminhollon

I started flying alone when I was around 10. I learned to love it. ;)

Just never get a rear-facing seat (esp. during take-off), unless you enjoy a facsimile of near-death experiences. Ergh.

@RL_Dane @libreivan
I started flying *alone* earlier this year. Honestly it's nicer than travelling with a full family in many ways.

@RL_Dane

10?! How is that legal?

@benjaminhollon

@libreivan @benjaminhollon

Oh, it's not as rare as you think. They usually give the kid some kind of easily-visible ID, and a pretty flight attendant would watch over you and make sure you got where you needed to go.

At least, that's what it was like in the 80s. No idea what it's like now. XD

@RL_Dane @libreivan

Yeah, I think it's a similar process now, though I haven't done it.

@benjaminhollon @RL_Dane @Anachron My longest so far was 18 hours in the air. After that, coast to coast flights in the US are a piece of cake.
@royal @RL_Dane @Anachron
Oh, definitely. Coast-to-coast flights in Malaysia are even easier. ;)

@royal @benjaminhollon @RL_Dane

I regulary fly around this length, but I do it with a stop-over (even if its more expensive) because I dont want to stay in an airplane for such a long time in one-stop.

I just cannot imagine how I would feel being crammed into one for such a long period, no matter which class I fly.

@Anachron @royal @RL_Dane
Yeah, having a layover can make things a lot easier, but also more stressful if you're pressed for time or if (like on this last trip) you find out you've been bumped off of your next flight.
@benjaminhollon Don't even make me think of it. My head is about to explode, how do you handle flights four times this one?
