BezI do all my own illustrations so can't really recommend many folk.

@GyrosGeier it's a hidden role game set in a medieval/low fantasy setting. I'm not sure how to describe specific art styles, though
@thewispsoftime so psychedelic glowy landscapes are out, I guess (because I totally know someone who makes those).
From an art style perspective, there is at least an axis of how much realism you want — is it important that stones look like stones, or that they are instantly recognisable as stones because they are cartoonishly stone-like, or are they watercolor blobs that people need to observe and learn that they are hard, heavy and fall down — different artist specialise in different styles.
@GyrosGeier I would place the wanted realism halfway, where it's okay if it's a little abstract or cartoonish but the shapes should be immediately identifiable as real world objects

@StevenSaus my budget for art rn is ~$200, and I would give rights to show on portfolios or put on their resume if they wanted. I'm fairly new at this though so details of fair rights given I'm not 100% sure right this second

@andycarolan @ravipatel your style is very cute but unfortunately it doesn't fit the tone of what I'm going for. It's a hidden role medieval game with suspicion and betrayal and whatnot lol. If you know someone whose work fits that tone better definitely let me know

I've not had much success myself, but mostly because I was after something very specific
