The plans are starting to shrink but it’s still a fundamentally bad premise: a 95-year lease for private control of public waterfront, $600 million for an underwater parking garage, zero transit, and lake infill, for a private spa.

@c_9 @cp24 I looked at the new design. It looks like hot garbage. So much wasted space! Like standing in a giant lobby, but nothing around. Why is everything so wide!

Also the new beach doesn't look like Canada, it looks like it was designed for the Mediterranean.

Nothing here looks chilled out, or relaxing. It's all just wide sidewalks.
