We moved our home and businesses from England to France in 2012. I heartily recommend it (although of course it's more difficult now post-brexit - note the irony of the Telegraph suggesting it!).

@Richard_Littler The Telegraph is perpetually wrong. For all that the UK is governed by delusionists and will be replaced by delusionists of a different flavour, it’s quite well placed geographically to be somewhat insulated from the consequences of its own legacy (at least initially)
