I looked into Dr. Amy Myers and #adrenalfatigue...😭😭 Bc i was curious when i heard people take this supplement. She was featured on Goop, lol. 🚩 And her specialty is apparently #pseudoscience/ fake diseases.🚩

To be clear, i believe symptoms are real, but this isn't causing them❤

Adrenal fatigue: What causes it?

Adrenal fatigue is a lay term used to describe a mild form of adrenal insufficiency caused by chronic stress.

Mayo Clinic

That Mayo Clinic article (⬆️) sums it up well about why people believe #pseudoscience. They aren't unintelligent, maybe just out of hope they can find relief.

"It's frustrating to have persistent symptoms your doctor can't readily explain. But accepting a medically unrecognized diagnosis from an unqualified practitioner may leave the real cause — such as depression or fibromyalgia — undiagnosed, while it continues to take its toll."
