@fuzzychef

i made my cursor fluorescent yellow and a size bigger because I am Gandalf in this pic

@fuzzychef You have to wiggle the mouse madly and watch your peripheral vision.
@fuzzychef I exacerbated that by using my TV as a third monitor. Sometimes it takes 20 seconds to find my cursor. 😬
@fuzzychef I have one monitor and I manage to lose my cursor embarrassingly often. 😅

@fuzzychef @jessica if it helps anyone, Windows has a handy mouse locator thingy you can enable in the mouse options (tap the Control key to trigger). I'm sure other OSes have similar options.
(Of course i always forget to use it)

edit: If you have PowerToys installed (highly recommended!), there is a fancier and prettier version in Mouse utilities (on mouse shake or double Ctrl tap).
But the basic single tap option is built into Windows, you just need to enable it.

How to find your mouse pointer fast by using the CTRL key.

@hotkey @fuzzychef @jessica Awesome - I didn't know about that one. On macOS, if you shake the mouse, it'll temporarily make the cursor bigger.

Make the pointer easier to see on Mac

On your Mac, change the size and color of the pointer so it’s easier to locate on the screen.

@fuzzychef Yeah - I just showed an older client how to make the cursor bigger by default and now that I’m back on my computer, I’m thinking I may be needing that option sooner rather than later
@fuzzychef
when I'm using a pc the curser is usually sitting in the chair 😭 💻

@fuzzychef

I have 3 monitors, 1 of which is a drawing screen I keep turned off most of the time.

I lose my cursor way too often than I'd like, and an embarrassingly large amount of the time it's because it's wandered onto the monitor that's turned off and I haven't done the hand-flick that will always get it back onto one of the ones that are on (sort of a backward "C" shape starting from the bottom.)

@fuzzychef there's a windows 10 accessibility setting i use where tapping CTRL highlights the mouse cursor and it is the GREATEST THING EVER
