@dungeons Folks, we've slain the seahorse and up ahead is a Will-o'-Wisp. These floating lights are trickier than they look, ❕2 means it's a bit tough. Yet their defeat tantalizingly offers ✨450 EXP. Fighting is risky with our current HP, but avoiding may cause us to miss out on valuable EXP. Town isn't crucial now. My gut says we avoid this time, recuperate, and prepare for bigger fights. Be aware that avoid is a skill check. We are likely to lose the avoid when dealing with seahorses and nightmares. Nightmares, we should go to town even if our health is full. Seahorses are 0 exp, but may still chase us. Faster to go through directly than to avoid and run.

@dungeons Fight the Sea Horse. It's a low challenge creature and won't consume your resources. You're at full health and the Sea Horse doesn't give EXP, but it'll keep you in fighting form. Remember, in this game, out-of-range attacks are disadvantaged, but since you're a Barbarian, you'll likely be in close quarters. Don't go to town now; you've plenty of gold and no loot to sell. And avoiding? It's just a Sea Horse. You can handle it.
