Some Friday night GBoH with the Barbarian scenarios for SPQR, starting with the Battle of Lautulae. And with my first print of an @ardwulf Chit Commander counter tray holding some additional counters from this expansion!
@Joementum Do You use that kind of counter tray for markers or just units and leaders?
@RyTo The goal is to put (almost) everything in an @ardwulf tray. Two 8x12’s should do it. I may try to modify a tray to fit some of double-wide phalanx counters to do so, and if not I’ll leave them in the dreaded baggies.
@Joementum @RyTo I have wide trays coming.

@Joementum @ardwulf I was afraid that this was the setup for the Romans and the Barbarians. A fitting setup - all Barbarians piled together before they charge.

One question: The tray looks high (speaking of size, not condition). Does it fit in the Box and how many Counters can be fit into it?
If I look at the stuff that's in Julius Caesar or SPQR I was happy to get the Cube4me - Trays into the Box.

But great to the the trays out in the wild.

@Alphawolf @Joementum The trays are 20mm high, with some 15mm versions available as well. Capacity is 8-12 counters per stack, depending on thickness.
@ardwulf @Alphawolf I can get 9 SPQR counters to a stack, and there are ~1,640 counters to the game with the Barbarian expansion. I’ve printed two 8x12 stack trays that can hold 1,728 counters, and those two trays with lids can easily fit in the box even with the Simple GBoH material in addition to the SPQR Deluxe rules, aids, and maps. Now I just need the time to organize everything and make some labels!
