Wolken verlicht door de ondergaande zon. Gefilmd met een groothoeklens, vandaar de soms wat vreemde vertekening. De waarnemer beweegt en draait dan nog eens de camera.

@stux Yes, its a rare atmospheric phenomenon called the apocalypse.

In all seriousness the red color is caused by Rayleigh scattering, and this cool effect is just the red color falling ont he underside of the clouds as the sun sets.

@stux Bloodmoon upcoming, prepare for the zombie invasion!

“I love the smell of napalm in the morning.”
@stux That is a beautiful sunset.
If it's a sunrise you might want to prepare for a storm, but beautiful either way.
"Red sky at morning, sailor take warning.
Red sky at night, sailor delight"
or something very muhc like that as best I recall.

Super cool! We get that here often enough, but usually only only a few scattered bit of cloud catching the sun, *this* is a amazing!
