Pavel A. SamsonovToday is MAR 10, aka Mario day. It is also extremely close to the spring equinox.
This implies a cycle of Wario Day (fall equinox), Luigi Day (summer solstice), and Waluigi Day (winter solstice).
Luigi's height and generosity represents the wheat stalk; when we feast upon the harvest we embody Wario's girth and greed.
Waluigi stands for the lean times that come during winter. As the snows melt he is replaced by Mario, whose plumber nature blesses the fixing of pipes that burst from the cold.
The downside of getting old is that time passes more quickly. Aside from realizing I still haven't started projects I thought of years ago, I notice people who haven't heard from me in 'forever' from their perspective, are, for me, fondly remembered encounters that happened 'just yesterday'.
My power just went out for about 20 mins. The text message said it was for "Reliability Upgrades" I get needing to cut power for upgrades, but the name feels inherently oxymoronic: It didn't 'feel' reliable.
Professor Shyguy just had minor brain surgery, and is apparently doing quite well physically. He should be back performing his unique brand of 8 bit music in no time!

Spring feels a little early this year, but it's only a little and I gues it depends on lcation. This is always a little wild to me. I was just in a zoom meeting last week and you could tell out someone's window, there was still several inches of snow on the ground. Meanwhile, I've already had to weedeat some tall clover, and you can see in these pictures, my pine tree is budding, the neighbors' fruit trees are flowering, and I'll be throwing maple helicopters again before too long.

It's storming, my PC is out of warranty, so I'm playing it safe.But it seems to be letting up a bit! So maybe on time?
