@dymaxion weird news. There's no tax or excise on anything air travel related that I know of, a good start nonetheless.
We need air tax like road tax (in NL that means related to kg CO2/km). Excise and value-added tax on fuels/electricity, just like for car gasoline/diesel/LPG/kWh.
