So I hear #Rebellion is having another go at making #VideoGames based on their #2000AD stable of characters. I figure I'll throw my ideas out into the ether in the form of a thread.

#StrontiumDog would work as an #ActionRPG. It would be best not to adapt any particular storyline - instead, write a new story, but with side-missions where Johnny hunts down various bounties. Maybe it could be squad- or party-based so the player can also recruit Wulf, Gronk, Middenface, Durham Red, Maeve the Many-Armed, Spud Murphy... heck, since 2000AD games tend to be in their own continuities, might as well give us Feral Jackson.
(Yes, I think Feral was a decent character)
I feel like #NikolaiDante would work as a #TacticalRPG in the vein of #FireEmblem, #FinalFantasyTactics, or #TriangleStrategy. The story will probably diverge at least a bit from the comic, since the great loss Dante suffers towards the end is amazing storytelling but not great for gameplay.
Might as well throw in a matchmaking mechanic, and Dante doesn't HAVE to end up with Jena.
#Skysurfing offers another possibility for a game. Basically, it would be a snowboarding game, but you're flying. The meat of the game is competing in races, with extra points awarded for stunts, and occasionally have to avoid attention from the Judges. Between races, you have to do courier jobs to make extra money, some of which are illegal.
Chopper should be in it, but not as a main character. Instead, the player would be a rookie looking to make a name for themselves, with Coppper as mentor.
