The art of the steal
I'm not kidding when I say there's way too much going on in Fire Emblem Engage.
I have to manage inventories, which luckily can be automated. Then you have the relationship stuff, which is fine, since I like most of the characters. And then the Engage Rings and the skills they get you. It's a bit muh, but the more I play, the more fun I have.
The biggest trouble is me figuring out when is the optimal time to move on with the main quest and when is the best time to do skirmishes.
7 hours in and I'm more and more enjoying my time with Fire Emblem Engage and its characters. After my bad time with Three Houses a couple of years back, it's great that I find joy in what I consider one of my main franchiwes again.
Still getting the hang of things somewhat and having had long interruptions between my play sessions has not helped but it's a better experience now that I play it regularly.
I highly doubt I'll beat it in June though. Maybe July? Maybe the new one keeps me motivated to finish this quick, who knows?
Anyway, also made some progress in Persona 3 Reload and that has been fun. Went past floor 200 so I'm pretty sure I'll finish it in June.
Oh and first chapter of the new Yoshi game is done already. Very cute and creative.

So, I have lots of opinions on #FireEmblem Fates.
Most of them are negative, that's more of a me problem... My favourite FE game is still Fire Emblem 7, or the first one released outside of Japan on the GBA. I do sometimes question why Lyndis shows up for work every morning, when her growths can leave her in a questionable state of usefulness for a mandatory deployment... But that's a talk for another day.
One thing that has remained consistent for me and Fire Emblem, is enjoying the soundtrack, and today's #VGMWednesday is on the vocal track from Fates, γLost in thoughts all aloneγ

The calm, serene sounding song is a fantastic juxtaposition against the chaos of the battlefield in Fire Emblem, especially when this track comes up as the background music for the chapter.
Despite not gripes with the game, this is song is what I take away from the experience.
