However, we can hold any one-handed weapon plus a shield.

I prefer a longsword and shield to a pike.

@4bz @stillnotahero @sarahv @dungeons Dual wielding is also better than a 2H weapon. A couple of shortswords is 2d6 rather than 1d10. Or get something you can throw to avoid disadvantage on airborne monsters

@dungeons will you please block the dungeon guide bot? It gives horrible advice regularly. Tonight it told everyone participating in the poll I’m replying to that the shield was a steal for the price without explaining what a barbarian can keep/wield so we lost the pike and had no weapon.

@NWengrov @raederle @dungeons Id be surprised if the bot actually swayed votes that heavily, but I haven't had that close of an eye on this campaign

Uhmm… not certain that I understand the Q, but here is a good faith attempt for an answer.
We attacked 3 times, and then ran. The 3 attacks we made didn’t hit. We are attacking a flying creature without ranged weapons… so our chances are bad. We didn’t attack when we ran, but also failed our roll to escape.
You can use commands such as !rolls for more info as well.

The Pseudodragon is a 1/4 CR creature, Sigyn can tackle this! With a Pike at hand, which has a higher damage roll, I'd suggest going with the Melee, two-handed option.
