Wondering what is going on here. San Marzano seeds, but one plant seems to be producing round tomatoes while the rest look more like I would expect. #gardening #vegetables #tomatoes

@NotMyBub SAME HERE. I thought I was going insane or there was some herbicide damage. I'm really shocked at how poorly managed seeds were this year from so many different fronts.

Where did you source your seeds?

Tomato Seeds - San Marzano 2 (Indeterminate) | Suttons

Favoured by chefs, use to make paste or sauce, fewer seeds, great for pizzas. Sowing time February-April. Harvest July-September. Plum fruited variety. Deep red skins, meaty flesh and unsurpassable for making sauces! (Cordon variety - one stem grown by pinching off side-shoots as they appear, needs staking and tying in.)

@NotMyBub so the issue is widespread it seems with all types of plants all over the supply chain. What a colossal fuckup. I hope farmers are getting a more consistent product than we are, or else it's going to cause some major issues beyond home gardening
@MasterNoda Went back to my retailer and they said that they have been having alot of complaints about this brand.
