Trollup@Wezzah I completely agree! #Mastodon feels best when it’s less about doom scrolling and more about interacting and sharing.
One challenge I still face is that certain topics don’t seem to blend well, and so I have maintained two #accounts, in different #domains. One for more #mainstream pursuits and this one for the sorts of topics we wouldn’t share as openly.
The challenging part is when those steams #intersect and overlap. Because of course, we do engage in discussion across those #boundaries!
I used to see similar #crossover in bygone (or gone to us) platforms. I observe this fluidity much more in Mastodon / #Fediverse. It doesn’t bother me but it can make it confusing to transition conversations across the self-imposed boundary.

@trollupsx I have the same problem. My kink headspace is for here, and I share some personal things so I can get them off my chest. Politics and the world and silliness are on main. As is my music.
