My handwriting was never 'terrible', but I've been saddened to see it deteriorate so badly ever since i got a computer 25 yrs ago. Reading about how cursive writing is no longer taught in school deeply saddened me for some reason, so I'm making an effort to rehabilitate my cursive writing. Using a fountain pen seemed like a logical pathway for doing this. I have a collection of early 1900 postcards, some with gorgeous script writing on the backs. So inspiring!

I’m also working on making my cursive handwriting look, at least, legible. The encouraging thing is that, reviewing my first practice notebook, there’s an enormous improvement between the first page and the last.
