#gardening failure so far this year: invested in #AntPro bait stations in an attempt to reduce ant damage to fruit trees/etc. (and the occasional bee swarm that lands here). The #ArgentineAnts here refuse to take the bait... I think too many other food sources in my yard. #pest #control #ant #ants
@ai6yr
Where I used to live we had neighbors who had an infestation of Argentinian ants, they were nice enough to warn us. I went to my usual pest resource
https://ipm.ucanr.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7411.html
and then went and bought HomePlus / Pic Ant Killer metal traps. (https://pic-corp.com/product/homeplus-ant-killer-ab-6pk/ ) They have 4 places around them that are meant to be punched out to make holes. I know they make a plastic version but different ingredients.

@ai6yr I love these because 1. They work for a long time 2. Pet and Toddler safe 3. Great for indoors & outdoors 4. Work fast. I placed them all around the perimeter of the house and along kitchen cabinet baseboards and never had a problem again. When we moved here after the fire, a few months in, we had some ants try, I did the same and never again have had an issue.
