@avirr How many of these published vulnerabilities, if exploited on your computer, would cost you in lost time, money, ability to work, or peace of mind? Anti-malware works like an insurance policy, it offsets some of the potential for loss. Comparative statistics with Windows vulnerabilities don't do a damn bit of good when you become a victim. I also know people who don't lock their front door to their house because, well, the odds are so low.

@avirr I am more on the security side than the consumer side of the house. I'd suggest reviews in the industry like this one, by parties who aren't trying to sell you something.

@avirr @VisualStuart tagging along, since I am also looking for anti-malware software. I used „Panda Virus“ for a while, since it offered a multi-platform license, but I didn‘t like the subscription fee. I prefer buying software.
