Been walking around with solo gamedev ambitions for years now. But the task always felt so daunting. So many different tools and aspects to master. I'm giving it another shot now. I have no idea how far it will carry until life, the world, or my brain throws an unexpected curveball.

When the End of Days comes, I hope I'll at least have a prototype that can be kept locked in in a vault somewhere for archeologists to discover when society is rebuilt in a thousand years.

First week of trying to (finally) learn #blender. Messed around with cinema4d 20 (!) years ago so the basics are still very fresh. The plan is a somewhat 3d isometric platformer.

It was fun. The kind of learning where after a week of struggling and doing things horribly wrong, I can probably recreate that week's worth of work in a couple of hours now.

I'm not too afraid of the programming part of it all. I do that for a living. It's the drawing, modeling and rigging. Making SFX. Dialogue trees. Interfaces. Story and a thousand unknown unkowns.

Baby steps, I guess... :)
