It was worth pointing out. But yesterday's "smoke" at #Fagradalsfjall #volcano 2021 eruption site would have increased in activity by now if it was cracks of an opening rift eruption. So what was it? Maybe outgassing from 2021 lava enhanced by high humidity and low sun angle at sunset. #geology

Anyone who has been occasionally monitoring the webcams for activity at #Fagradalsfjall & #Keilir #volcano๐ has probably noticed a hint of the high latitude of #Iceland, almost at the Arctic Circle. At 2AM local time the webcam showed the darkest of night was civil twilight. ๐
