@rabbijill He sent many to New England as well, though he may not have realized that the way he did so gave them legal protections that they otherwise might not have had. Many of the people have assimilated well and now have jobs.

Human trafficking is a crime. DeSantis doesn’t have immunity as governor. He should be prosecuted. Interfering with their court date is monstrous. Treating people as political props is devoid of empathy. Lying to them in order to get them on the plane is entrapment. DeSantis should be locked up. We no longer live in a nation of laws.

the voters have been brainwashed so can be forgiven but the grifters who are using them to gain money and power are unforgivable and as we see beyond the law.

We see black Republicans like #UncleThomas who resent every gov action that helped him get where he is, and Tim Scott who thinks his mere existence disproves racism.
