Wow... Now THERE'S an officer who is in trouble. He'll probably get thee weeks of paid suspension.
Matt@PadreSJ I am not sure if people (people including the police) quite get how egregious it is to falsely arrest someone. The punishment should be far higher, especially when provable innocence is so easy (in this case checking a receipt)

@PadreSJ He saw the hair and literally leapt at the chance to pummel someone who didn’t look like him and therefore made him uncomfortable. This man should *not* be in law enforcement.

My father was a Kansas City police officer back in the '70s, and he wouldn't recognize these guys. He started the "Officer Friendly" program in this city, teaching kids about traffic safety, and pulling a rabbit out of his riot helmet.
He organized the "Pigs vs. Freaks" softball game versus the hippies who hung out in Volker Park.
These guys are amateur military with bad training.
