The cocaine-in-the-White-House story is just what the Republicans want Big Journalism to obsess on, and as we know Big Journalism basically acts as though the Republican Party is the assignment editor.
@dangillmor All that means is some tourists forgot they had cocaine on them. Kind of like the MAGA dumbasses who forgot they left a loaded gun in their suitcase when they went to the airport...
@dangillmor It is amazing to me that so many people are fixated on a bag of cocaine in the White House when there were 22 mass shootings, killing 20 people and injuring over 100 on July 4th. The day the country celebrates its independence. Really, how is a tiny bag of cocaine more important than people being shot on July 4th? Makes no sense to me at all.
@Bluedonkey @dangillmor I am unable to dismiss the suspicion that the Secret Service planted that cocaine.
@AliceMarshall @dangillmor Why does it matter who put it there? Just dispose of it & move on. It is causing no harm to anybody, unlike the guns flooding the US, that are being used to kill people every day. When you have more mass shootings in a year than there are days, that’s a problem. One bag of cocaine in the WH, no matter how it got there, is irrelevant to any of the serious issues we face as a nation. It’s a distraction & we need to learn to ignore distractions.

@dangillmor

Well one things for sure .The security really sucks at the WH.
Cameras should be everywhere..JFC

@dangillmor Funny how MSNBC didn’t mention the Bush years, W & Daddy.
@dangillmor Yet I never heard a single remark about all the oh-so-interesting behaviors (IE: incessant sniffing) from a certain party during the 2016 debates.
@dangillmor
Such a boring story too. Who cares about a bit of personal coke?

@dangillmor
> Big Journalism acts as though the Republican Party is the assignment editor.

That is an amazing way to sum up MSM.

@dangillmor There's only one acceptable headline for this story: "Cocaine Found Nowhere Near President Biden."
@dangillmor I for one think it’s a step in the right direction. We have representatives falling asleep on the floor, maybe a drug cocktail of stimulants should be standard issue to energize our leadership.
