Trying to come up with a name for a "ZIP, but improved" file format.

GoodZIP - shortens to gzip, oops

BetterZIP - shortens to bzip, also oops

Edit: ok I've picked a name, but it's a secret for now (it's none of the suggestions in this thread!)

@retr0id what improvements do you propose? it may already be part of the zip format, just not widely implemented. it does a lot of stuff, being an old and crufty format.

@retr0id Dr ZIP, where DR stands for "done right".

Long ago I wanted to use a name like that for a project fork and not tell people what it meant since it would be subtly insulting the original.
