@neptune22222 That looks intense!!! I do sometimes read online but I most prefer holding a book in my paws.
@VannaBlack It's kind of slow but it is dramatic. Actually, I have seen a number of popular TV shows recently that are based on the events described in it.
I did splurge and bought the actual physical book that I read as I ride the bus without any electronic devices necessary! I also like reading actual physical books over reading on-line.
I think part of my problem with e-readers, which would be my alternative to a physical book over reading on a computer through a web browser, is that most of the e-readers are proprietary software. Once an open source e-reader comes out, I *might* use that over carrying around the 500 page book... but until then, books are the best for me too.
@neptune22222 I'd be interested in the shows based on the book. Do you happen to remember the names of any?
@VannaBlack Maybe not specifically in Ireland, but occurring at the same time with some of the same characters is Outlander... The Scottish also were persecuted by the British and escaped to the colonies and rebelled against England, creating their own country.
