Pardon me while I immediately pin this to my account.
@miriamrobern @TheAutisticTooter I admin a server and I feel this in my soul 😆😆
@miriamrobern I feel for Picard and therefore have multiple accounts that people can follow. Yay, fediverse.
@miriamrobern i could not resist to add it as my banner in m’y profile too 🤣🤣
@miriamrobern My personal aim in life is to be Q in every and all situation!
@miriamrobern … and if you’re looking for the GIF version, you can find that pinned to my account 😎
@miriamrobern it’s a fundamental problem with the “Twitter model”; i am very much struggling with pruning my persona on Mastodon

@miriamrobern I tried to pin your post, but apparently I can't pin boosts of other people's posts, only my own original posts.

Learn something new every day.

@munroe You would not be the first, or even the fifth, to copy it and make your own post for pinning purposes. :)
Copying this from @miriamrobern.
I can't pin her post, so I'm re-posting.
This is very true, and for people that just care about my primary interests, I'm sorry. Well, a little sorry.
Hopefully my other interests aren't too insufferable.
@munroe I will always hope to follow others with as many interests in common with me as they have in things I know nothing about yet or ever pondered. This is how I learn about new, undiscovered things. If I'm not interested, I'll let posts fly by or forget about them, but always feel free to share, just in case
@miriamrobern actually, apart from mapping and geo-stuff and software, I do play guitarron... So yeah.
@miriamrobern OMG! This is how I worry about my account as well. 😂
@miriamrobern I feel this way for the people that decided to follow me on the other site early last year after I posted some screenshots for one of my projects that somehow got a lot of attention compared to the other posts I made about it.

@miriamrobern people who followed me for politics and disability justice only to hear me talk about God and scripture everyday.

i talk about leftist politics and disability justice within that too, but i just don't think it's what many people may expect when they follow from a popular advocacy post lol.

@miriamrobern Yeah, I feel like a lot of historians followed me here or on Twitter only to discover I mostly shitpost or muse about pop culture. (I also have a low-key hostile relationship with academia)
@miriamrobern @hazelweakly I always found mono-thematic accounts to be somewhere between boring and annoying ✨

@sashag @hazelweakly I mostly post tabletop games and trans stuff, and while most of the trans audience also plays ttrpgs or is at least familiar, there are vast landscapes of ttrpg people for whom translandia is not just a foreign country, but a different fucking planet.

And then I occasionally throw in a little liberal religion, right, and nothing gets simpler. ;)

@miriamrobern @hazelweakly I have no clue about any of these games. I guess it's a combination of two ADHD traits: short attention span (don't give me a rule set longer than half a page, I won't read it 😅) and extremely low frustration tolerance. So if I have to read a long text to then build up a table top game for an hour, I'm out 🙈

But I still love to hear about it. It's a world I never will be able to experience 🥹

@miriamrobern I feel this meme deep within me.
@miriamrobern some men would rather you not toot Q’s horniness then go to a therapist. 🖖🏼
@miriamrobern there is absolutely no need to call me out like this lol
@miriamrobern @frainfostudent And I've also noticed I've benn a one note bore lately. I'll have to change that.
@miriamrobern yep. Every social media I've ever used. Enjoy, everyone! (YOU HAVE NO CHOICE) 🤣
@miriamrobern
That's why my motto is: post what you care about/want to. Those who don't like it can keep scrolling.
@tully
@miriamrobern @maxleibman I got added to an “urbanists” boosting bot that boosts any of my tweets that get enough attention. The tweets it boosts are almost never about urbanism
