@tikli okay so if you’re some schmuck from twitter like me, it’s very easy to not notice that you can blacklist instances that produce a lot of pornography, and get blindsided by that if you search through the hashtags Willy-nilly, ex. The nintendo hashtag, the ffxiv hashtag, etc. a lot of techniques to filter that content has become a lost art to boot.
@Tembryglintstone But at least filtering works a bit better than just putting on ear plugs when there’s loud sex happening next door 😅
I don't know how much people use the sensitivity filtering when they are POSTING porn content, or if they have marked their accounts as sensitive. My understanding is that there are tools for this, so it shouldn't be too hard to avoid a specific flavour of accounts/posts if you wish to do so.
