@sysop408 one food delivery company rolled out a way to track the status of your order where the web app would fetch the status of the order... regardless of whether the order was delivered or not. So if course people just leave tabs open and over the course of hours the system was getting bombarded with requests for order delivery statusee for orders delivered hours ago.
