@WizardBear @Mary625 @Hey_Beth @TonyStark Sides getting an education helps one to know what he’s doing when they get a job, start a company or just buy one and is handily destroying it. Idiot can’t code, the #SelfDDOS one example, more in this article.

Elon Musk wants to relive his start-up days. He’s repeating the same mistakes.

What PayPal’s history teaches us about Elon Musk’s management of Twitter

@mattround I hope they DDoS themselves again.

#SelfDDoS

@mike “an attention leeching hate mill” run by an attention seeking child judging by his tweets and lack of education. Destroying a resource used by many people/countries for breaking news, respected scientists, the list goes on. Hard to use all the hate and fear to drive engagement when users are restricted from seeing it cause he #SelfDDOS his platform. I like it here, much nicer environment.
@mergesort it hasn't started trying to #SelfDDoS yet has it? Then it'll truly be a copy.
Magic Mushrooms. LSD. Ketamine. The Drugs That Power Silicon Valley. - WSJ majorly dumb to use a drug that causes hallucinations while coding software Elon’s #selfDDOS #TwitterFail https://archive.is/2023.06.30-220512/https://www.wsj.com/amp/articles/silicon-valley-microdosing-ketamine-lsd-magic-mushrooms-d381e214
@BabsSheKing Lol. I love that all the stories about Twitter lately have an echo of my voice in the background. I don't care that I'm not mentioned and it's better anyway if I'm not. It's more likely to stick for longer if it feels like the term #selfDDoS came from nobody and nowhere.
@jace I mean, they do keep self-owning themselves. The whole #Twitter #SelfDDOS episode is funny as hell.

I think one issue that has sprung up is that there's now so many Twitter-alternatives. Facebook is about to launch Threads which is to compete with the #Fediverse, #BlueSky and countless others.

@Teri_Kanefield @theloneapple years ago I used an RSS feed. Now I have a list of publications I follow in Apple News and have no problems finding specific topics. Others like MSN and Yahoo News are useful too which also has NYTimes. Can’t afford to subscribe to all. I did like the experts I found on Twitter but site has too many problems, most recently #selfDDOS and limiting what we can read. One workaround Threadreader app still works for now.
@grumpygryphon I found you here not on #TwitterFail with Elon messing around causing a #selfDDOS then limiting the vast majority of accounts that won’t pay. I wish more would move. I have saved links to their art sites if they don’t and check to see if/where they move.
Twitter CEO backs widely criticized tweet-reading rate limits - Reuters dumb as rate limits affect all users that don’t pay which is a lot. Note no mention of Elon’s move to limit those not logged in from seeing tweets which led to the #SelfDDOS. Generally when one pays to use a platform, no ads are an expected benefit. Not sure that applies to #Twitter sides most ads there are pathetic lolol. https://apple.news/AjsDamLcoRrqg2fSPCyyXwA
Twitter CEO backs widely criticized tweet-reading rate limits — Reuters

Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino on Tuesday tweeted a defense of the temporary cap announced July 1 on the number of tweets users can read in a day, and the company said advertising has been stable in the days since the step that drew heavy criticism from users and marketing professionals.
