You call that a fact, and it might be, but how can you possibly tell?
yes, I've heard that your tasted buds are screwed up forever if you had Covid. At our age, we took the threat seriously, and we still do, so we wore masks constantly out and about. Subsequently, I made Carroll Shelby's chili w/beef & red bell pepper yesterday. Added the WAY TOO DAMNED expensive Fritos on top for a great tasting late lunch. Taste buds still working here! carry on.
Covid 19 is still killing ~1000 Americans a week. The CDC still lists it as the #3 killer of Americans.
This feed will show you how many Americans are killed by Covid 19 each week. It is updated on Fridays.
I'm not a medical expert, but I think as long as people are dying from a disease that means it can spread to you, and worse, mutate into a more dangerous form.
Worse, at least in the U.S., it has been way over 6 months since most people have had their booster shots, which means most of us are vulnerable.
Most Americans have stopped social distancing and wearing masks indoors. These aren't the stupid antivaxxers. People are getting Covid 19 again. The worst example was a month or so ago with a convention for the Center Of Disease control which had a convention in a hotel. Most of the attendees got infected.
She should volunteer to be putin's food 'taster'
I the years to come, you're going to hear all these antivaxxers complaints. Olfactory disruption is a hallmark symptom of Covid and post-Covid recovered. Just like when they had "Covid Parties" and "chicken pox (herpes zoster) parties". All those kids are far more likely to get shingles later. I even got the zoster vax. I've seen how miserable it is. Yikes. Who knows what health problems we'll see what in 30 years from Covid.

Poor things, my food tastes fantastic!
Or you know, it could be all those people that spit in their food...
