Why on earth would you spend hundreds of dollars to go if you were only going to talk to your friends and not, you know, listen to the music? I will never understand it.

@sbourne In Phoenix I turned to the guys behind me who were shouting to hear each other over the music. Smiling with what I hope was a combination of joy and deep sarcasm, I said enthusiastically, “Hey, guys? Look! There’s a show going on! People playing music onstage!”

It kinda worked.
