Why on earth would you spend hundreds of dollars to go if you were only going to talk to your friends and not, you know, listen to the music? I will never understand it.

@sbourne In Phoenix I turned to the guys behind me who were shouting to hear each other over the music. Smiling with what I hope was a combination of joy and deep sarcasm, I said enthusiastically, “Hey, guys? Look! There’s a show going on! People playing music onstage!”
It kinda worked.
Official Bob Weir Merch 100% Cotton STFU Design Black Weir Shirt One night in 2013, founding Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir was playing a set with his RatDog quartet at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California when a group of patrons wouldn’t quiet down. Weir took the opportunity—mid-solo—to not-so-politely ask the group to keep it down. Except that’s not the phrase he used! A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Grateful Dead, Weir has also released four solo studio albums and played with the group's Kingfish, Furthur, and most recently, Dead & Company. If you see them in concert just remember, don’t talk over the band! Design Details Front Text: STFU
@sbourne So, so true. It happens at most concerts I attend.
I took my youngest to her first, and last, Dead and Co. show at SPAC (Sunday show, of course) and gave her a heads up to be cool, particularly during drums and the beam.
Earlier this year, my spouse and I saw Nickel Creek in Portland, Maine. Some jackass in the row behind us was loudly mansplaining the band to his neighbors pretty much constantly.
He was a new convert, and excited. I get it but, dude, STFU!
