@penfount honestly I tend to be pretty boring when it comes to this. I’m probably just going to refill the pen with the same ink that was in it before. Now on the other hand if I’m switching out a pen for a different one I haven’t used in awhile all bets are off, I’m going to rummage through my box of inks and pick whichever one appeals to me most in the moment. I’ve spent a lot of time writing work notes in varying shades of purple thanks to this approach 10/10 would recommend
