MoxDay 4 was a split day. The first part was a brief stop in Juneau before sailing the Endicott Arm with the intention of seeing Dawes Glacier. However, conditions did not allow us to make it all the way to the glacier.
The excursion in Juneau was a 4-mile hike on the Eastern Glacier Loop Trail at Mendenhall Glacier. The rainforest has views of Lake Mendenhall as well as the glacier plus plenty of waterfalls.
The glacier has retreated about 800 feet since I was here last year and is expected to retreat off the lake completely by the end of the summer. It's kind of a bummer but is still amazing to see.
