For reasons unknown to me the last #tgv from Paris arrives to Barcelona at 21:25 and at the same minute the last train leaves from Barcelona to Madrid. It probably isn't realy so - I'm just bad is using #RailPlanner .

Ended up taking a bus from Barcelona to Madrid. There were several departures leaving before midnight and taking me to Madrid by 7:30.

I wouldn't say it was awful but I'm not doing it ever again 😛 I just loosen up the timetable and overnight in Barcelona..

And funnily enough after saying I'm done with long bus trips I'm in bus again!

Got myself to Badajoz as planned but then it turns out that portugese railway workers (or only cp?) are in strike so there was no way I could get to Lisbon by train today.

And by some miracle there was a direct bus route departing from Badajoz to Lisbon an hour later 😲 It would actually be in Lisbon 15 minutes earlier than the trains (if they hard run)...

Taxi to the rescue!
