Alright, time to catch up on the #SummerGamesFest!
Will post some of my thoughts here while watching the show. :)
First is a new #PrinceOfPersia game from #Ubisoft! 😮

A return to the series' sidescroller roots! Not huge on the color choice and character designs, though... Also, who gave their blessing for that music track?! 🤨
Gameplay looks fluid and fast, but also a bit... ordinary? What's the hook? What's special about it? Will there be time rewind?

Next is an extended look at the newest #MortalKombat title.
It's what you came to expect from the series by now: nice graphics, tasteless violence, little to no innovation. Fuck that! Who are those people in the audience, cheering after they showed a bunch of tasteless dismemberment just for the sake of being drastic?! Won't share that stupid shit.
Also, are there really people out there who play #MortalKombat for its story and "timeline"? 🤔

Not gonna lie, the teaser was a bit underwhelming. Looks great, but after two years of silence on this and the recent launch of #Diablo4, I expected something with a little more oomph. Hopefully we'll get that on the 28th of June! :)

Quite curious how (if? 😂) they manage up to four fast moving characters on a single screen. Doesn't seem like the best fit for a local multiplayer game...
The trailer makes it look like players can go off screen, so probably the camera will just follow player 1? Lame...

Not sure what to think about it. Visually, I'd say, it looks mid at best! And it's really hard to tell what you'll actually *do* in the game based on that trailer.
As someone with no previous ties to the franchise, I so far stay unimpressed.

I never played an #MMORPG. So I can't and won't tell you if #ThroneAndLiberty will be any good! But if this is what you see when looking up a game's trailer, it's prooobably not a good sign:
While I've huge respect for #RemedyGames, I cannot say I'm terribly excited for #AlanWake2. Somehow this franchise never appealed to me? The demo's worth watching for the Deerfest joke alone, though! 😂

While the #PrinceOfPersia trailer didn't feature *any* time rewinds, slightly weird named indie game #Lysfanga seems to make it the core premise in a hack and slash game where with each repeated try you fight alongside a legion of clones from your previous tries.

Alolan YodaI'm looking forward to it, but I am a bit worried that the level design will be more limited to accommodate for having four players on screen at all times.
