The message such comments are transporting is devastating and treating the #Nachwuchs (i.e. everyone without a permanent full professorship in Germany; #IchbinHanna) like stupid kids: Do not complain, play along, enjoy your short time in the system, academia is only for those with luck and money. I am shaking my head in disbelieve.
