Michael Gemar@bruces @donmelton I’m always amused when researchers test if animals have a sense of self by seeing if they recognize themselves in a mirror. I imagine dog scientists determining that humans have no self awareness because they don’t recognize the smell of their own pee.
Jenny Fx@michaelgemar @bruces @donmelton the mirror thing is odd. Our dog does not appear to recognize himself but he also ignores his reflection yet uses mirrors to see us around corners and behind him.
