Here's my dream for #WWDC23 :

In macOS 14, when you open a new Mail draft, if you close it within 5 seconds you will not be prompted to save that unaddressed, empty, clearly accidental draft.

I know. I'll file this next to my other #wwdc dream: Updated Notes so you can change the accent color to be notGold.

For those playing along at home I've given up my dream of Tim walking on stage w/a large stack of paper, saying the paper is the iTunes source code, then feeding it all to a woodchipper.

@Verso The perfect WWDC:

1. Objective-C is back.
2. Pinstripes & Aqua are back.
3. Spotlight works again.

@Verso The one thing I want is to fix that stupid thing where a notification appearing just as you tap near the top of the screen will instantly bring you to another app.

@Verso I want my Mavericks-era titlebars and buttons back. I don't mind the flatness of the rest of the UI, but buttons need to be buttons again, dammit!

*Please don't tell me to switch that on in Accessibility. Button shapes are not the same thing.

@macfixer you're correct it's not the same. I like but don't need pinstripes, I definitely feel like some extra dimension to the UI wouldn't be a bad thing.

@Verso I *appreciate* the pinstripes, I am in no rush to go back.

#lickable

@macfixer @Verso Let me tell you about Snow Leopard…
@Verso Pfeh. Music *wishes* it was a scriptable as iTunes was. And oh god, the lost glory that was iChat 😭😭

@bynkii it's a dream from when they kept bolting on to it. Like the Weasley house. I just wanted a separate thing to manage my phone.

And while we are at it, Audion or GTFO. Right @cabel ? 😁

@Verso @bynkii @cabel audion was lovely 🥰

I’m in need of a true library manager that connects to Apple Music. Something that respects ReplayGain tags, understands that albums can have multiple releases, and has a way to tag performers (I’m a jazzhead). The new Classical iOS app shows hints of this!
