I really like @mastodon.radio

This is a great server with lovely people and wonderful content.

Thank you to everyone here that's made it not just possible to exist in #hamradio but genuinely thrive.

This wasn't looking likely after ugly and inexplicable behavior towards me personally and the work I do as a volunteer from #ARDC and #AMSAT over the past 2 years.

AMSAT-NA in particular - the other AMSATs have been fantastic to work with.

Thank you especially to @N3VEM, #JAMSAT, and #amsatdl.

@abraxas3d @N3VEM Japanese amateurs have always made NA look bad with all their experimenter bias. AMSAT-NA has gone to the dark side as other NA orgs have done (RAC, ARRL) and gone for DX/Contesting/Ragchew with a de-emphasis of experimenters/buliders...
@va3db @abraxas3d @N3VEM If you like experimenting and building stuff, you'll probably enjoy the SolderSmoke podcast from Bill Meara and Pete Juliano https://soldersmoke.blogspot.com
The lastest episode is about coherent CW. If you like homebrewing, there's lots for you

@gmoretti @va3db @abraxas3d I do love me some solder smoke - just because of being busy, I don’t get to listen to many podcasts, but #HamRadioWorkbench, #SolderSmoke, and #LinuxInTheHamShack are the ones on my short list when I can.
