Because of that long drive I have no #HamRadioWorkBench podcasts left to catch up on. I didn't think it was possible, but I have run out of workbench- I need an emergency bonus episode for my lawn mowing today.
Almost forgot that today was the #HamRadioWorkbench HRWBOTA event😀. Luckily I managed to sneak to the radio snag @wd9gco real quick, so I at least got one of them😀

#HamRadioWorkbench's most recent episode is all about #44net and #ARDC. https://www.hamradioworkbench.com/podcast

44net is devoted solely to amateur radio use. Radio amateurs use 44net networks to set up radio-based networks using packet radio, 802.11 (Wi-Fi), and other technologies on amateur radio frequencies to exchange data using IP protocols. Local and regional radio networks are interconnected over the internet using a mesh network of tunnels between gateway systems.

Was listening to #HamRadioWorkbench 219 and @W5WTH mentioned running WSPR when he wasn’t using his rig - that’s genius, and I’m ashamed that the thought never crossed my mind😀. I ran WSPR on receive only on 20m all day today, and when I get a chance I’ll prob copy his idea of writing a script to fire it up automatically when my radio isn’t getting used. I might add an additional bit though, to have it also TX when I’m in the shack, maybe tied to prox sensor or similar.
