Who here is running #WindowsInsiders builds? ๐Ÿ™‹
@JenMsft now you said that, I'm kinda missed being an Insider.. but i still follow the news haha
@zunderscore Hey! I feel like it's been ages since we spoke, how have you been?
@JenMsft Good! Busy. Miss y'all bunches. Wish I was up there this week. :(

@JenMsft i use insider canary on both my work and private device. One with Pro, the other one with home. I'd have preferred to stay on the dev channel, but that wasn't an option, sadly.

Every time I get to use a vanilla win11 machine, I miss features I'm using in Insider, so I guess there's no way back for me.

@mwidmann I'm the same way, it always trips me up using retail builds haha (or Windows 10 - feels so old now)
@JenMsft Me! Canary at home. I would be running Beta on my work PC, but sadly they won't buy me a new one that supports Windows 11... boooooo
@JenMsft
Release-Preview on every physical device except my "old" notebook running the beta
Release, Beta, Dev and Can in VMs
@JenMsft I recently took all of my devices out of the insider program. Stability and performance has become more important lately, especially on shared devices. But seeing Dev Driveโ€ฆ.. I am resisting the urge to jump back in!
@TheJoeFin Would love to hear your feedback about dev drive if you do end up diving back in :)
@JenMsft @TheJoeFin Honestly I think it would be awesome to be able to select the primary drive as Dev Drive during setup since I think that could even be useful for power users.
@JenMsft I plan to join the beta channel after I move back up to 22H2 on this machine.
@JenMsft At the moment in a VM.
@JenMsft Not currently, but planning to as soon as I get home from build.
@JenMsft I'm still running Windows 10, because I'm suspicious of new Msft stuff. :P
@JenMsft me. And i had to reinstall last week because my task bar was just gone. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
@burgr Oh no! What Channel?
@JenMsft dev i believe. No sweat, could have been something i did
@JenMsft
i am. every time i see some new article about new feature in the latest stable windows drop, i go over them and wonder "weren't these changes already introduced a while ago?"
@JenMsft ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ Since well before Windows 11 released.
@JenMsft I got too feed up with issues in the insider builds and released builds that after 30 years of Windows I left for the MacOS. It took learning some new things, but I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll ever go back.
@JenMsft Daily builds from my teamโ€™s own branch. I am on a diet of eating strictly what I cook and eat it fresh.
@itanium @JenMsft Yep, four machines on my team's Canary ring and two more on Selfhost
@JenMsft how stable are insider builds to use on a computer used for work?
I would like to try them, but I'm kinda afraid that I will break my work computer and will have to take a day off. ๐Ÿ˜‰
@y4si0 Everyone has a different threshold for this sort of thing - personally I run Insider on basically all my devices and have for years, and have rarely had a problem I couldn't handle, but they do have their quirks sometimes
@JenMsft ๐Ÿ™‹ both beta and dev on my PCs!
@JenMsft canary dev beta 3 pcs
@donshideout Nice! What's your favourite change in the insider builds currently?
@JenMsft ai in edge and bing also dev app backup insider 8 years
