Man, what have they done to Github accessibility? It looks like they introduced a heading for every fart. It makes navigating pretty challenging at times.
It turns out suno.ai can speak Dutch!
After some investigation, I noticed that it isn't yet possible to create a SAPI synth in Rust that easily, as some of the relevant interfaces are missing from the bindings. The awesome part though, I filed a pull request against the Win32Metadata project on Github and that has already been merged. So it's now waiting for a new release of the win32metadata and a release of the Rust bindings thereafter.

My 1 year old son has just started making noises when he plays with cars. He doesn’t say “brrrrm” or similar, he says “eeeee”. We own electric cars.

Think of it, a future where cars, buses, trucks, tractors go “eeeee” instead of “brrrrrm” in the minds of children.

@Brynify Hi, got a quick fix requesst for TC's Home Assistant session. Could you please allow setting decimal values for climate temperature changes? My thermostat is set to 19.2, yet that value isn't reflected in the spinner to select a new temperature, and it only respects full numbers.
I started Rust bindings for NVDA yesterday. That's the first step towards something in Rust that will be a SAPI synth that forwards speech to NVDA.
I filed https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/pull/15699 for the SSML work in NVDA. I really like it honestly. It even supports translating SSML mark commands to callbacks. Future nvdaControllerClient dll users can even provide a callback that will be called for any mark in the provided SSML. This allows a client application to follow the progress of speech output in detail.

@[email protected] I'd say that with threading, it makes sense to re-add the warning from the previous post, just as with replies.
